Yat Guan Today
Under the leadership of Mr. Lim Er Lin, great-grandson of founder Mr. Lim Boon Qian, Yat Guan continues a near-century legacy of reliable wooden pallets, crates, and industrial packing for Singapore and Malaysia.
We combine automation and lean, skilled teams to stay competitive without compromising craft. Over the past decade, we’ve modernised and expanded our Malaysia facilities with automated timber processing and stringent QC, strengthening both capacity and consistency.
Today, we operate two ISPM-15 heat-treatment sites across our facilities, plus an additional Malaysia warehouse that increases overall capacity by 200,000 pallets. Our upgraded lines include automated cross-cut machines, pallet-handling conveyors, semi-automated nailing machines, and a 3-axis CNC, improving throughput and repeatable quality.
From pre-production to post, we’ve systematised pallet design and invested in tools that help our sales and service teams respond faster — from digital job tickets to AI-assisted support. But technology is only as strong as the people behind it, which is why we continually refine SOPs, provide professional training, and support employee growth and wellbeing.
Our sustainability journey began in 2021 with out PEFC certification.
Through our PEFC-certified chain of custody, responsible sourcing, and our recycling and repair programs, we ensure that Yat Guan is a sustainable partner to our planet.
As we move deeper into the digital age, Yat Guan integrates dynamic route optimisation, predictive analytics, and GenAI-driven customer support to deliver smarter logistics, faster response times, and seamless service — keeping your supply chain moving with precision across Singapore and Malaysia.
